Good morning, Falcons!

Stop by the library today, Wednesday or Friday to make a Christmas ornament with the Library Club!

Are you interested in becoming a teacher, coach, or counselor in the future? Come to Room 902 during lunch on Thursday, December 7, to check out the Representing Mentors’ Futures Club.  We will decide on meeting days and decide future guest speakers. See you in Room 902 on Thursday!

Spanish Honor Society is selling Holiday Candy Grams for $2 during lunch at the Quad. The sale will end this Friday. Make sure you buy yours today!

Today’s ASB meeting is during 6th period - please check in with your teachers first before heading over.

Come cheer for our girls’ basketball team as they take on Centennial tonight here at IHS!

Our student-directed winter play opens this Thursday!  Come experience A Christmas Chaos at 7pm Thursday through Saturday, with a matinee showing at 3pm on Saturday!  Tickets are available for pre-sale at the Finance Office for $5 with an ASB sticker and $6 without.  Prices at the door are $7 with an ASB sticker and $8 without.

Winter Formal tickets are on sale now!  This is the only week we’re offering a discount for ASB stickers.  This week, tickets are $55 without an ASB sticker and only $45 with the sticker!  Next week, prices go up to $60.  Remember, you must have a new, signed dance contract and a clear debt screen to purchase tickets; also, the Finance Office is open before school and during lunch, then for one hour after school on Mondays ONLY.

Speaking of formal, applications for Winter Formal Royalty are now available in the Activities Office!  2 winners from each class - freshmen through seniors - will be crowned at the dance!  Applications are due December 15 to the deans’ office and preliminary voting will take place the week we return from the holiday break!

Our season of giving continues!  We’ll be collecting all of our spare change in our second period classes for our annual Dime War competition!  All proceeds this year go to the Daughter Project, which provides critical services and supports for local survivors of trafficking.  Dimes count as 10 points, and all other coins/bills count as negative points, so you can sabotage other classes!  The class with the highest number of points wins either donuts or pizza, and the class with the most negative points wins donuts!

Have a great day, Falcons!
