Good morning, Falcons!
Congratulations to our wrestling teams on defeating the Stockdale Mustangs at last night's dual meet! The boys’ varsity team defeated the Wolfpack 54-27, with the boys’ JV team winning 66-12. Congrats to our girls’ wrestling team for winning 2 of the 2 matches! Way to go, Falcons!
Attention any boys interested in trying out for tennis: Conditioning will start the first week back from break, January 8th through the 12th . Please have your physical and paperwork done prior to try-outs. See Coach Kirby in room 708 with any questions.
The Baking Club is hosting a gingerbread house decorating contest on Monday at lunch in room 604. Bringing your own kit is preferred. Team up with your best friend and come win some fun prizes.
All boys interested in playing golf: Please meet in Portable 1 next Tuesday, December 19, during lunch.
Freshmen! Are you feeling anxious about finals? Join Link Crew leaders and teachers on Tuesday after school for our annual “Cocoa & Cram” event, where you can get last-minute tutoring help, advice for stress management, and - most importantly - hot chocolate! A late bus will be provided.
We’ll be judging the door decorating contest today during 3rd period - the winning class gets donuts!
Don’t forget! Next week we’ll be counting down the days until winter break with some cozy dress-up days! Monday, we’ll be celebrating “One More Sleep” by wearing our comfiest pajamas! Check out our Instagram page or the IHS website for more details!
Winter Formal tickets are on sale now! Tickets are $60. Remember, you must have a new, signed dance contract and a clear debt screen to purchase tickets; also, the Finance Office is open before school and during lunch, then for one hour after school on Mondays ONLY.
Speaking of formal, applications for Winter Formal Royalty are now available in the Activities Office! Make sure to turn your applications into the deans’ office by the end of the day!
Dime Wars ends next Tuesday, so make sure to keep bringing in your spare change to your 2nd period class!
