Good morning, Falcons!  Hope everyone had an amazing 3-day weekend!


On this day in 1963, retired NBA MVP Charles Barkley was born!


Come out and support our Lady Falcons soccer team as they battle Clovis West in tonight’s semifinals!


Congratulations to Isaac Quiroz in taking 4th place at the Masters Championships and becoming a 2-time state qualifier.  Isaac will be competing this week at the California Wrestling State Championships.


Seniors!  Grad Night tickets go on sale today!  The cost is $185, which includes ticket, transportation, dinner, and end-of-the-year activities!  Make sure you have a signed permission slip and a clear debt screen!  Spots are limited, so don’t procrastinate!


Don’t forget - this Thursday is our 3rd Food Sale Day, so bring your extra cash to buy some Jamba Juice, KFC, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, Chick-Fil-A, and more!


It’s FFA week!  Today, come check out some ag workshops in the quad during lunch!  Tomorrow is the famous Farmers Market in the quad, so come grab some free samples!  On Friday, we’ll see which teacher gets the honor of kissing a pig and you can purchase a ticket to “pie” an FFA officer!


IHS participated in Math Field Day on Saturday!  Congratulations to the following students:


  • Jared Tan: 5th place in the Varsity Individual Medley

  • Christian De La Cruz: 2nd place in the 3x3 Rubik’s Cube Competition and 1st place in the 4X4 Rubik’s Cube Competition

  • Karina DeLos Santos: 2nd place in The Chalk Talk

  • Charles Meza-Soto: 3rd place in The Chalk Talk


Congratulations to the following students in the Junior Varsity Level:


  • James Bramer and Tristan Adriano - 1st place in the Team Medley

  • Natalie Flores, Lakshi Dasanayaki and Pfrancii Suson - 2nd place in the Team Medley

  • James Bramer: 1st place in the Individual Medley

  • Pfrancii Suson: 2nd place in the Individual Medley


James Bramer also performed in the Math Humor category and received a trophy for  “Most Humorous” and was asked to perform once again at the end of the day during the awards.


Mrs. Flores, Miss Torres and the whole Math Department are proud of all of the participants.


AP students! The last day to finish paying for your AP exam is Friday, February 23rd. Any exam that is not paid in full by then will be canceled.
