After school tutoring is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. It is held from 4:15p-5:15p. There is a late bus available.
Time is running out to purchase your AP test. Make sure you visit the finance office soon; the last day to reserve a test without a late fee is October 25th!
Today is the last day for the Balloon popping event hosted by the Speech and Debate club. It is in the quad during lunch. $1 for one dart or $2 for 3 darts. You have a chance to win chips, candy or a $15 Starbucks gift card.
Attention students in grades 9-11!! Makeup picture day will be held on Tuesday, October 15. You will be assigned a time to take your picture.
Attention seniors!! Joseph Estrada Photography will be on campus on Wednesday, October 16 for those who have not taken their senior photo. You will be given an assigned time to take your photo.
Join us on Saturday, October 26th at 8am near the football stadium dressed in your scariest Halloween costume for a frightful 2-mile run. Participants will get a finishers medal, and a t-shirt designed by one of our Independence High School art students. Registration cost is $35. See Mrs. Lopez or Mr. Lara for more information.

Our first food sale is October 17th. You can purchase an “early pass” with your RISE points. There are only a limited number of passes available. Check Synergy to see how many points you have available. Early passes can be purchased through Synergy.
The CSF application window is now open. Please pick up an application at the Counseling Secretary's desk or you may also print one from the Independence High School website--select the "Academics" drop down menu, select "programs," and then "CSF."
All Girls interested in playing Softball this season, please get your physicals and sportsnet completed by Monday October 14th.
