Our annual Dime Wars competition will begin Wednesday, 12/4 and go until Wednesday, 12/11. All monies collected from Dime Wars will be donated to a local non-profit.
What is Dime Wars?
Dime Wars is a fundraising event where participants earn points for donating coins and bills to a jar. Students can bring in pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and bills to add to the jar. Students can sabotage other classes by putting pennies, nickels, quarters, or bills in their jars. There will be two prizes awarded to your 2nd period class, at the end of this competition. The class with the highest POSITIVE points will win a donut party AND the class with the highest NEGATIVE points will win a pizza party. May the odds be in your favor!!
Formal tickets are still available. Make sure to get your ticket before prices go up.
The best Lunch with an Author of the semester will be on Thursday in the library! Alan Gratz, author of the fabulous book Refugee, will talk about the refugee experience. Grab your lunch and come see the recording of the live stream during lunch on Thursday 12/5.
