Here’s the fun fact of the day - As we go into our President’s Day Holiday - Barack Obama served as the 44th president of the United States (2009–17) and was the first African American to hold that post. A member of the Democratic Party, Obama previously represented Illinois in the U.S. Senate from 2005 to 2008. He was honored with the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.
