The Daily Falcon: Thursday, February 27, 2025
Here’s the fun fact of the day - The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a civil rights protest during which Black residents refused to ride city buses in Montgomery, Alabama, to protest segregated seating. The boycott took place from December 5, 1955, to December 20, 1956, and is regarded as the first large-scale U.S. demonstration against segregation. Today, protests continue as we continue to fight for equal rights and the ability to live freely in common spaces.
If you are interested in being a part of the Iron Man and Powder Puff teams, there will be a MANDATORY meeting TODAY during lunch in the library. Applications are available in the Activities Office.
