Kern High School District schools are unable to hold in-person Back to School Nights, so Independence High School will hold the event virtually. Starting at 4pm on September 7th, log onto the IHS website, click on the “Back to School Night” tab, and select the video next to each of your students’ teacher names. If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to contact them through their email link!

We’re excited to announce upcoming auditions for the 2021 Falcons Got Talent show! Auditions will take place after school on October 26 in the cafeteria. Sign-up using the link provided. The show will be November 18th, and there will be CASH PRIZES!

The Independence Falcons will be playing tonight @ West High School - Game times are currently FS @ 6:00 pm and Varsity @ 8:15 pm. Please watch this post for updates.

APEX orientation will take place Monday, August 23rd from 2:45 pm-3:00 pm in the PAC. Please attend if you are signed up for APEX 8th period. You may contact Mrs. Hopkins or Ms. Courage for further information.
