Greetings, Falcon Families!
October will be a busy - but exciting month - with Senior Nights for our tennis and volleyball teams, and “Pink-Out” volleyball and football games in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Students and staff alike are looking forward to our first Food Sale Day on October 17, during which clubs invite food trucks and other vendors to sell a variety of treats during lunch. Then, on October 29, we’ll host our 3rd annual Trunk or Treat event, with all proceeds benefiting IHS clubs!
Another annual event is coming up - Principal Partners Day! Members of the community will be joining staff and students on October 16 so we can showcase the myriad programs and services offered at IHS, as well as provide an opportunity to connect with local organizations.
For any students in grades 9 - 11 who missed the first picture day, makeup photos will be taken on October 15. If you already purchased your student’s photos from the first session, proofs were delivered to teachers last week, so please make sure your student received theirs.
Conditioning for winter sports begins this month - please make sure you’ve submitted your student’s athletic packet and sports physical! Boys and girls basketball begins October 14th, wrestling begins October 14 and boys and girls soccer begins October 21.

Quarter 1 ends this Friday, so it’s always a good idea to check in and ensure they’re on top of their coursework.
