Greetings, Falcon Families!
We’ve made it to the last week of the semester! This past week was one of our busiest - we had choir and orchestra concerts, a Food Sale Day, several home games, a food distribution event, and the Kern Region Forensics League Holiday Extravaganza competition! We’ve seen students demonstrating RISE in so many ways - especially in service and excellence!
It’s time for our students to demonstrate their learning from the past several months - please remember that we’ll be on our Final Exam bell schedule Wednesday through Friday (see the schedule here). If your freshman is anxious about finals, please encourage him/her to attend our annual “Cocoa & Cram” tutoring event on Tuesday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the cafeteria! There will be teachers and Link Crew leaders providing assistance in a variety of subject areas, along with some holiday cocoa! Late transportation will be provided.
Our winter sports teams are off to a great start! Want to cheer on your student? Check out our Athletic Calendar for game locations, times, and ticket prices! Remember, all tickets must be purchased via GoFan.com.
Winter Formal tickets are available for purchase! With the theme of "A Night in the Bayou," the dance will be held at the beautiful Nova property on January 24, 2026, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm (students must arrive before 8:00pm in order to gain entry). More details regarding pricing and guest contracts are available on the IHS website and Instagram.

Cocoa and Cram!
Cocoa & Cram will be held on Tuesday, 12/16 from 4-6pm for freshman students to attend in the cafeteria to study and receive tutoring in preparation for finals week. Cocoa & snacks will be provided. Late bus will be available for transportation.
