Greetings, Falcon Families!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
There are several events happening this month that will give our students the opportunity to shine. From our athletes participating in Spring sports to our Band and Colorguard performances. We also have our Theater students rehearsing for Cinderella. So many exciting events! Please be sure to come and support our fabulous students!
Attention parents of incoming Freshman, there will be an Orientation on March 27 from 5:30p-7:30p. Future Falcons will have the opportunity to get information about the various sports and clubs offered on campus. Information will be available during the orientation for those interested in being a part of ASB.
Do you have a student playing a Spring Sport? Join us in making game signs to support our student athletes. A Sign Making Parent Workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 19 from 5:30p-7p in the IHS Library. This is a FREE workshop. All supplies and dinner will be provided with a reservation. Contact Dolores DeLeon at 661-834-8001 to reserve your spot.
Our first Spring Fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 3. This event is open to everyone. There will be food vendors, Easter games and an egg hunt. All are welcome! The Class of 2027 and 2028 are hosting a Baile (dance) for all students. It will be held on campus on Friday, April 4 from 6p-9p. Dance contracts are available in the Activities office.
Quarter 3 ended this past Friday and report cards will be mailed on March 21. With only a few short weeks remaining in the year, please encourage your students to remain committed to their academic success. If your student is struggling in a particular subject, he/she is welcome to attend our after-school tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school until 5:15pm in the library. A late bus is provided. IHS also offers 24-hour access to Tutor.com, which provides individualized academic support.

Our Parent and Community Center Liaison, Dolores DeLeon, has organized many events throughout the year to provide critical information, support parent involvement, and build community among our families!
