Greetings, Falcon Families!
Last week we held our annual Freshman Orientation. The turnout was incredible! The Class of 2029 and their parents were able to visit with our various programs, clubs and sports. This week our incoming Freshman will have the opportunity to register for classes.
Students performed incredibly in our Spring Show of Cinderella. Thank you to Mrs. Kolberg and her talented students for their hard work in making this production so amazing! Applications for ASB are now open. The deadline to apply is April 4. Current Sophomores and Juniors interested in being a part of Link Crew must apply by April 4. Testing continues this week, and students are working hard to demonstrate their mastery of academic standards. On Friday, we held our first Fashion Show in collaboration with Friar Tux and Windsor Fashions. Students were able to get several ideas for Prom attire.
Powder Puff and Iron Man is on Tuesday, April 1. Come watch as our Juniors and Seniors compete against one another. Our first Spring Fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 3. This event is open to everyone. There will be food vendors, Easter games and an egg hunt. Come join the fun. All are welcome!
There are only a few more weeks left in the school year. Please encourage your students to remain committed to their academic success. If your student is struggling in a particular subject, he/she is welcome to attend our after-school tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school until 5:15pm in the library. A late bus is provided. IHS also offers 24-hour access to Tutor.com, which provides individualized academic support.
