Greetings, Falcon Families!
We have had quite a week of celebrations! FFA held their End of Year banquet last week. Students were honored for all their hard work during the year. Band held a concert last week. Students played incredibly during the concert. Students were honored at our RISE Assembly on Friday for exemplary behavior on our campus. Our Prom at Hidden Gardens was beautiful and students enjoyed the festivities. So much has already been going on this month. Be sure to check the website for additional information.
Our Spring sports teams continue playing this week. Please come to our games and cheer on your favorite players. Seniors will be honored at the College Signing Day on May 8. We are excited to see what the future holds for our graduates. Advanced Placement exams will begin this week. Best of luck to all of the students who are taking the exams.
Attention parents of Seniors! Please remind your students that graduation is an important event in their lives. They do not want to do anything that may jeopardize this celebration. This includes attendance, behavior, senior activities, etc. We want to see each of our students graduate.
There are only a few more weeks left in the school year. Please encourage your students to remain committed to their academic success. If your student is struggling in a particular subject, he/she is welcome to attend our after-school tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school until 5:15pm in the library. A late bus is provided. IHS also offers 24-hour access to Tutor.com, which provides individualized academic support.
