Greetings, Falcon Families!
This past week absolutely flew by! Students in choir and band/orchestra presented outstanding concerts, testing season officially began, our softball team dominated in their game against Golden Valley, and our AVID, Special Education, and Leadership classes hosted an "Iditarod" competition in the quad! Junior Ally Dahlke qualified to go to the state tournament in the forensics congress qualifier on Thursday. Seniors are realizing they have less than three months until graduation and are starting to make decisions about their futures. Next week, we'll welcome our newest group of Falcons at Freshman Orientation, the Class of 2028!
The end of Quarter 3 is this Friday, so if your student is struggling in a particular subject, please encourage him/her to attend our after-school tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school until 5:15pm in room 1101. A late bus will be provided. IHS also offers 24-hour access to Tutor.com, which provides individualized academic support. Interested in more ways to get involved at IHS? Looking for some additional resources? Our Parent and Family Center is here to help! Find out how to become an “observer” on Canvas to track your student’s academic progress.
