Greetings, Falcon Families!
This past week was a celebration of our Falcon singers, musicians, and actors, with students performing in CMEA Ratings Festivals for Choir and Band, and the cast of the spring musical - Mamma Mia - recording songs for their album in CTEC's amazing studio! Testing resumed this week, and students are working hard to demonstrate their mastery of academic standards. Our clubs, programs, and sports teams welcomed incoming freshmen and their families at Thursday's Freshman Orientation.
As we head into the last days before Spring Break, we'll continue to connect with new and familiar Falcons. Freshman registration will take place on Monday and Tuesday, so ASB and Link Crew students will be busy giving campus tours and helping ease any new-student anxiety. Parents of spring athletes are invited to participate in a sign-making event on Wednesday evening - all materials will be provided by our Parent Center. This is a great way to connect with fellow parents and create some positive energy for the stands!
Quarter 3 ended this past Friday and report cards will be mailed on March 22. With only a few short weeks remaining in the year, please encourage your students to remain committed to their academic success. If your student is struggling in a particular subject, he/she is welcome to attend our after-school tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school until 5:15pm in room 1101. A late bus is provided. IHS also offers 24-hour access to Tutor.com, which provides individualized academic support.
