Greetings, Falcon Families!
What an amazing week! We cheered for our juniors and seniors playing in the Iron Man (volleyball) and Powderpuff (football) games on Monday night, enjoyed incredible performances from our theatre department (Mamma Mia), and hosted the first annual LISTOS car show! Our spring athletes are doing well, and we've celebrated several senior nights already! Junior Alexandria Dahlke competed at the state level for speech and debate - we are so proud of her accomplishments!
This week, we'll be honoring the diverse cultures represented at IHS, with informational displays from a variety of clubs during lunch and a performance/fashion show on Friday! Seniors will be receiving important information about end-of-year activities/deadlines and taking their panoramic photo on Thursday - Jostens will also be on campus to distribute caps and gowns. Our IHS musicians will be partnering with Lakeside for a joint concert on Tuesday, and we're hosting an Arts Festival (showcasing visual artists, musicians, and singers) on Thursday.
It's not too late to help improve your student's grades! Tutoring sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school until 5:15pm in room 1101. A late bus will be provided. IHS also offers 24-hour access to Tutor.com, which provides individualized academic support.
