Greetings Falcon Family,
Another amazing week! Our volleyball teams won both home games and our football teams won their away games in Santa Maria at Pioneer Valley! The entire football department met for an inspirational coaching session and a hearty breakfast on Friday morning - what a great start to a Falcon tradition!
We are so excited to see everyone at Back-to-School Night tomorrow evening! We’ll begin in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 5:30 for a brief informational session, and then you’ll be able to visit classrooms and teachers! Remember, students can access their schedules online on StudentVue, but we’ll also have paper copies available at our Parent Center table in the quad. Please visit our website for more details! This is a great opportunity to meet your student's teacher and obtain valuable information about their classes and school policies (including our CELL PHONE and ACADEMIC INTEGRITY policies). Classroom visits and teacher presentations will begin at 6:00pm. Our Link Crew Leaders and ASB officers will provide information and assistance throughout the evening. Additionally, we will have a table where you will be able to submit a ballot for the parent representatives to serve on our School Site Council between 2025-2027.
The timeline for the evening is as follows:
- 5:30pm: Informational Session in IHS Performing Arts Center
- 6:00pm: Period 1
- 6:15pm: Period 2
- 6:30pm: Period 3
- 6:45pm: Period 5
- 7:00pm: Period 6
- 7:15pm: Period 7

The best way for your student to have a successful and meaningful high school experience is to get involved! We'll be hosting our annual Club Fair Day on September 3, when clubs and sports, along with academic and performance groups, will host tables showcasing what they have to offer - students will have the opportunity to meet with club officers and sign up for groups that spark their interest throughout that lunch period.
LifeTouch will be on campus on Friday, September 5th for school photos. Information is available on our website for those interested in purchasing photos. Please note that photos are only for Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors. Seniors are required to take their senior portraits through Joseph Estrada Photography.
