Dual/Concurrent Enrollment

Dual and Concurrent Enrollment are both great opportunities for students to earn college credit.

Please visit the Bakersfield College website for information:

Dual vs. Concurrent Enrollment
Dual Enrollment classes are college courses taught on our campus by one of our teachers.  The students are walked through the enrollment process at the beginning of the semester.  All fees and required materials are provided.

Concurrent Enrollment courses are taught at the college campus by college instructors.  These classes are taken outside of the regular school day.  The tuition is waived, but minimal fees apply and must be paid by the student.  Textbooks are not provided and must be purchased by the student, if required.

**Students must be approved by their high school administrator to take any Dual or Concurrent Enrollment courses.**
